Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our service. By using this platform, you agree to the terms below.
1. About Us
This platform is operated by a UK-based company that provides a search-only service to help users find private GP clinics in the UK. We do not offer medical advice, medical care, or make bookings on your behalf.
2. How the Service Works
– The platform allows you to search for private GPs and clinics.
– When you find a clinic of interest, you will be redirected to that clinic’s own website or booking system.
– We do not manage or control bookings, cancellations or payments — all of which are handled directly by the clinic.
– Using our platform is completely free for patients.
3. No Medical Advice or Care
We are not a healthcare provider. The information on our platform is for general search purposes only and must not be relied upon for diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Always consult a qualified health professional for personal medical concerns.
4. Clinic Listings and Responsibilities
– All clinic information is provided by the individual clinics.
– We do not verify the accuracy, qualifications, services offered, or pricing.
– You are responsible for doing your own checks before choosing a clinic, including confirming the clinic’s registration status or medical qualifications.
– We accept no responsibility for any issues, disputes, or clinical outcomes relating to care provided by clinics listed on our platform.
5. Payments and Fees
– Our platform is free for patients to use.
– If you book an appointment, you will enter into a contract with the clinic, not with us.
– We accept no responsibility for payments, refunds, cancellations, or disputes between you and any clinic.
6. Communication and Booking Process
– We do not send appointment confirmations or reminders.
– All communication — including bookings, pre-appointment forms, or follow-up — must go through the clinic directly.
– We do not collect or store any patient data.
7. Reviews and Feedback (Future Functionality)
– We may introduce a review feature to help patients share their experiences.
– We reserve the right to moderate or remove reviews in circumstances including:
– Abusive, defamatory, or offensive content
– Identifying named staff without consent
– Inappropriate language or spam
– Reviews that clearly misrepresent events or breach legal duties
– Clinics are not permitted to submit or influence reviews on their own profiles.
8. Complaints
We are not involved in clinical relationships or treatment. If you have a concern or complaint about care you have received, you must raise it directly with the clinic involved.
9. Service Availability
– We aim to keep the platform running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
– Access may be affected by technical, maintenance, or security issues.
10. Our Liability to You
– We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your use of a clinic or medical treatment arranged through the platform.
– To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for:
– The actions or omissions of any clinic
– Clinical outcomes
– Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Terms and Conditions for Clinic Subscribers
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
– “Platform” refers to the online service operated by the Company that enables users to search and access listings of private GP clinics.
– “Company” refers to the operator of the Platform (Private GP Bookings or its legal owner).
– “Clinic” means a GP practice, clinic or healthcare service provider that subscribes to list services on the Platform.
– “Subscription Fee” means the fee payable by the Clinic to the Company to access and maintain a listing on the Platform.
2. Nature of the Service
2.1 The Company acts solely as a facilitator by providing a platform through which users (patients) can locate and access private GP services. The Company is not a healthcare provider, does not offer clinical care, and does not participate in or take responsibility for any clinical services or patient management.
2.2 The Company does not verify users, offer medical advice, or endorse specific clinics. All clinical content and treatment are the sole responsibility of the Clinic.
3. Clinic Responsibilities
3.1 Clinics must ensure that all information submitted to the Platform is accurate, up-to-date, lawful, and compliant with relevant medical and advertising standards (e.g. GMC, ASA).
3.2 Clinics are solely responsible for all content on their listings, including services, qualifications, pricing, and imagery.
3.3 The Company may remove or suspend listings that are misleading, unlawful, or breach the content standards set out herein.
4. Subscription, Fees and Payment
4.1 The Clinic agrees to pay a fixed monthly Subscription Fee, payable in advance by the agreed payment method.
4.2 The Subscription is a rolling monthly contract and may be cancelled by either party with a minimum of 30 days written notice via email.
4.3 If payment is not received on time, the Company reserves the right to suspend access to the Platform and remove the Clinic’s listing until payment is received.
4.4 The Company reserves the right to vary Subscription Fees on giving 30 days’ notice.
5. Listing Standards and Platform Use
5.1 The Clinic must not publish any content that is:
– Misleading or false;
– Unlawful, defamatory, or discriminatory;
– In breach of third-party rights or advertising codes.
5.2 The Company reserves the right to edit, reject, or remove any listing or content at its sole discretion.
5.3 Clinics must not use the Platform in a manner that could damage, disable or impair the Platform or interfere with other users.
6. Termination and Suspension
6.1 Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ written notice by email.
6.2 The Company may suspend or terminate this agreement and remove the Clinic’s listing immediately if:
– The Clinic breaches these Terms;
– Payment is not received;
– The Clinic’s conduct could bring the Platform into disrepute;
– Required insurance cover is not maintained or provided when requested.
7. Intellectual Property and Marketing
7.1 Clinics grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use their logo, trade name, and profile content for the purpose of operating and marketing the Platform.
7.2 The Company retains all rights in the Platform, brand and software.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Nothing in this agreement limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, to the extent such liability cannot be excluded under English law.
8.2 Subject to clause 8.1, the Company shall not be liable to the Clinic for:
– Any loss of profits, business, goodwill, or reputation;
– Any indirect or consequential damages;
– Any claim arising from the actions, omissions or performance of any Clinic, or from patient care.
8.3 The total liability of the Company to the Clinic, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall not exceed the total Subscription Fees paid by the Clinic in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Indemnity
9.1 The Clinic agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
– The Clinic’s breach of these Terms;
– The Clinic’s delivery of clinical services;
– Any content or materials submitted by the Clinic;
– Any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.
10. Insurance
10.1 Clinics must maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance for the term of their subscription.
10.2 The Company reserves the right to request evidence of such insurance at any time.
11. Disclaimers
11.1 The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or availability of the Platform.
11.2 The Company does not guarantee patient numbers, appointment conversions, or clinic revenue as a result of being listed.
11.3 Patients must direct any complaints, claims, or concerns regarding treatment directly to the Clinic. The Platform must not be relied on for medical advice or diagnostic purposes.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 The parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms.
13. General
13.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties relating to its subject matter and supersede all prior agreements and communications.
13.2 No failure or delay in exercising any right shall operate as a waiver.
13.3 If any provision is found to be invalid, the remainder shall remain in force.
